TWPL Booth at WAO's 2nd Annual Women Helping Women Convention
On International Women's Day 2025, five members—Adel, Venus, Cypress, Abby, and Valeria—competed in the Ontario Mock Trial Winter Tournament. They won two of their three cases with their final round featuring an all women counsel and judge. Supported by TWPL, these members sharpened their skills in mock court settings and gained valuable feedback from working attorneys in the Greater Toronto Area.

TWPL was honoured to have been invited to host a booth at Women's Advocacy and Outreach Club's Second Annual Women Helping Women Convention at Hart House in March 2024. The event served to raise money in partnership with The Period Purse Foundation, working to provide Marginalized Women with Equitable access to Feminine Hygiene Products.

Throughout the academic school year of 2023-34, TWPL engaged with three guest speakers. Our guest speakers, all Female Lawyers working in specialized and unique fields of law, shared their experiences as UofT alumni, studying & navigating Law School, as well as an inside perspective of working in the Legal Field.

In September 2024, University of Toronto Pre-Law Society invited us to participate in their annual Law Day Event. The event included booths hosted by organizations and institutions including The Princeton Review, Legally Bright, University of Western Law, University of Toronto Law, Osgoode Law School and more.
Our team of executives greatly enjoyed spending the afternoon at Hart House and learning new things about academic & professional legal careers, opportunities and next-steps.
